How many home health agencies does this site cover?
SeniorCareRating.com includes 12,392 Medicare-certified home health agencies across 55 states and territories, built from the official CMS Home Health Care Agencies dataset. CMS assigns a quality-of-patient-care star rating to 7,961 of them; the rest are shown as not rated rather than as a zero.
Why do so many agencies have no CMS star or limited data?
CMS only publishes results it can report reliably. An agency that served too few Medicare patients in the reporting window may have no star rating and few or no quality measures. A missing rating is not a bad rating — the pages show it as limited data, never as a zero.
Does this site rank or score home health agencies?

How is home health different from a nursing home?
